Confused, I need clarification.

Hey guys,

I remote started the ST this morning as it was about 0°f.

Got in, started it, and drove to work like normal….as I’m halfway to work I was a lil cold and was like it’s not hot in here like normal….checked everything and everything was good.

Got to work and checked the rear roof vents….nothing. I check the main screen, rear button is activated, fan high, temp high, check again. Nothing.

Check the controls in the back, fan high, temp high. Nothing?

I looked online (after leaving in the work truck) and on earlier models of explorers like 2019,2018….if the heat setting is on max the roof vents won’t blow anything? But if one the 1st or second or third line it will? Does that make sense?

Please help.

Did you try hitting the button on the rear control to have the air come from above? Also, did you have your system set to auto? Maybe that alters the flow to what it thinks is best.
