Correct color?

I have paperwork from when I bought my ST saying that the color (a 2022) is LUCID red, not Rapid red. From what I can tell, Rapid red was the only red offered on STs in the 2022 model year. The paint code is D4, Rapid Red Metallic, but literally right next to the color name it says "Lucid". I'm going to say that Rapid red is correct, but anyone have any guesses as to why the discrepancy?

They are the same color Within the Ford system. If you google it, it will confirm.

My 2023 said Rapid Red on the factory window sticker when I purchased it new.
I went to the Ford parts department to purchase some touchup paint and he said my VIN number stated that it is lucid red?
He said he doesn’t know why they list it like that.
He promised me that the Lucid Red and Rapid Red are the same color.
At least the touchup paint matched.

I think its called lucid red on the Lincolns. Ford has been doing this for years, same color, same paint code, different names on different brands within FoMoCo

Pretty much the same color. Technically Rapid Red Tinted Clearcoat Metallic Tri-Coat is its full name.

I give you Ruby Red and Rapid Red. Pretty much the same color. I thought one was darker then the other, then I walked to another spot and it switched, the other was darker then the other. Really pretty color, although I am biased
