The way Vibrant does their packing they claim they don’t burn in and have the sound change. Magnaflow definitely changes over the first 1000 miles or so. Mine got deeper and maybe a touch louder.
GESI makes your cats...I wouldn’t expect to notice any difference at all between a 300 and 400 cell cat with an exhaust this long.
Oh great! I hadn’t heard that about no break in before. Yah 300 vs 400 so close. Vibrant has no equivalent mid muffler from what I can see either...

Here are ours side by side. Few minimal differences in layout and path. My resonators are further back, smaller flex pipes, and the mid muffler slightly more forward. Reading Vibrant resonator language it says “Placement further downstream in the exhaust path will target higher RPM frequencies and overall decibel reduction.” Not sure about mid muffler placement impact but they are so damn close on ours. I suppose another option would be add two more resonators between mid muffler and rear mufflers? Wish you lived closer!

They just slipped on the rear mufflers to get a quick sound clip for me. Need to align, weld, make custom tips and paint black still (rear mufflers and tips). Should get it back Sunday.

Always so hard to tell from any online clip but it seems to accomplish what I wanted - higher pitch, more sporty sound, mild volume, and most importantly full 3” for more power. Much more to come and better clips when I get it back.

I’m 45 mins away and picking it up Sunday. They just sent this one clip. More to come once I get my hands on it!

Where you located? I’m in Shelby and would like to look and hear it!

I moved here for work and not sure where that is to be honest. I barely know my own area. I’m in Grosse Pointe.

Final stages - custom tips. Will be offset (copying borla offset), slant cut, double walled and powdercoated black. Rear mufflers will be painted black to blend in. The silver muffler of the borlas drove me crazy with the car being black. Ended up doing 3.5” tips as 4” didn’t fit with the vibrant muffler layout (hit in middle).

Pre powdercoat evolution. Double wall, tacked, welded, polished, rounded, trial fitment

Powdercoating process. Went with a textured matte black so it will hold up better and not scratch.
