Dealer Bushing recall work

In a turn that surprises no one - I scheduled my bushing bolt recall over a month ago and after taking in my ST, they called EoD to say they couldn't do it.
Apparently, they had "just used my parts yesterday on someone else's ST.
I've taken the opportunity to request that they charge my for a 4-bushing Aviator subframe instead - it's the same amount of work, minus having to press a bushing.

I'd feel bad, but I was going to get screwed, so, not really.
I sent them the part#, we'll see what they come up with.

The dealer did toss the rear black badge on like I asked them to do during the rear cam recall, but I can see tool marks around the oval depression... who PRIES on an adhesive badge on the paint side?
You can push with a screwdriver on the other side... :poop:

It’s not adhesive only. There’s 2 studs with nuts like the front. You have to remove the interior trim to access them.

Definitely not the same amount of work though. They’ll just drop the diff for the bushing. The subframe means removing the entire rear suspension, driveshaft, etc.
It’s a substantially more involved process.

Right, which is why I'm confounded - they had the posts unscrewed, I'm just curious who pries on a tri-coat metallic-painted surface to release adhesive. :cry:

That is correct.
To be honest - I made the appt to have my recall done 1.5 months ago, and they used the bushing "the day before" I arrived, and "didn't order a new one - I have zero sympathy.
(And would gladly slip the tech a hundo haha)
