Does anyone know if some 2021 ST’s have BOV’s and some don’t? Could they be in different locations? Here are a few pictures of mine. Thanks in advance! 00D585B2-1192-46C3-92D0-49AF68556143.jpeg FD9258DE-B422-4123-9F70-C56433538959.jpeg F99FDF78-FA27-4876-A2B5-750CB4DBC2C1.jpeg

The only thing this could be is a mid-year running change nobody has seen yet. I doubt they eliminated it completely. It dumped back into the driver side turbo inlet tube…about 1/2 way down on the inboard side of the tube. Start looking in that area.

My 21' is a March build. It has the BOV where you would expect it to be.

The first thread was posted to find out where the BOV was located, as I checked where all the videos said to but couldn’t find it. This one was posted to see if there was or could be different BOV’s in the same production year. Did you have anything productive to add or more of a Karen post?

I also don’t have one in the “normal” location. I looked around and can’t locate the BOV. It’s getting dark so I will look again tomorrow.

I sure will! I was planning to order a TurboSmart BOV but will hold off until we get it figured out.

I posted in the other thread as well. Mine build date is 01/2021 and it is there. I am pretty sure there needs to be a bypass valve in a turbo setup as without it the increase pressure on the cold side of the turbo may be damaging when the throttle is closed. Very weird. Let us know if you find it in a different location.

Will do! I’ll have some extra time this weekend to dive a little deeper

Doing a search on Ford parts brings no results for that part number. It looks more like a heater control valve to me.

Agreed. Also my replacement BOV only has 3 holes for connection. I’ll keep looking o_O
