I recently went car-camping with my ST and learned how many dings, bells and whistles happen when you open the back hatch, doors when people are trying to sleep. Can someone tell me if there is a setting to turn off these sounds If the car is parked Without disconnecting the battery? Also, when the car doors are closed and the engine is off, there are random clicking sounds that happen around the engine and locks that occur for 5-15 minutes. These are certainly not big deals but if there is a quick fix, solution or explanation, this great forum group will have an answer. Thanks!

All the noises you hear are very normal. I believe it's jist the modules cycling through the system when tje car sits idol for a bit. I hear it all the time when I am washing it or cleaning out the inside.

That’s not an issue…that’s the car doing the things it does normally.

I imagine these clicks are being caused by the system detecting the keyfob.
Maybe we could test that by simply not having our key in proximity.

It is kind of silly for relays to be clicking all the time.
(It makes me think that the ECU goes into "sleep" then wakes every once in a while, which triggers power/the relays)
Honestly, I cant imagine they do it constantly - go on vacation for a few weeks and your battery would be dead haha.
