Ummmmm.. NO. Autostop Eliminator brand is made in USA and with USA parts - that makes a huge difference. It is MUCH better than 4D Tech. I had a 4D Tech (Only because it was out first for the 25') that lasted less than 2-week and failed. I replaced it with the the Autostop Eliminator that came out shortly afterwards. This is the second time I have purchased and used Autostop Eliminator with no issues....
Ummmm - well, I have had the 4D Tech for over 2 months and it is working just fine. I also used 4D Tech on two other cars with absolutely no problems. I went with 4D Tech because they had one ready and when I contacted Autostop they said they were still working on it with no release date. I simply didn't want to wait.

Now, if you are buying the Autostop because it was made in the USA - I understand completely. I just didn't want to wait until they finally released one.

I had an ASE on my 21 and when I traded it in for a 23, I took it out of the 21 and put it in my 23, it been 3.5 years and two separate vehicles and it still works.

Absolutely! It is a great topic to discuss. Hope it goes on for at least a year. :ROFLMAO:

Save you some time go to Page 51 in the Owners Manual (PDF File).

Note: The driver and front passenger warnings switch off independently. When you perform this procedure for one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this cancels the process.

Read Steps 1-4 before proceeding with the programming procedure.

Make sure that:
• You set the parking brake.
• The transmission is in park (P).
• The ignition is off.
• You close all vehicle doors.
• You unfasten the driver and front passenger seatbelts.

1. Switch the ignition on. Do not start the engine.

2. Immediately start the deactivation or reactivation procedure in Step 3. Once you start Step 3, you must complete the procedure within 30 seconds.

3. For the seating position you are switching off or on, fasten then unfasten the seatbelt four times at a moderate speed, ending in the unfastened state. The seatbelt warning light flashes for confirmation.

This switches the feature off for that seating position if it is currently on. This switches the feature on for that seating position if it is currently off.

Does this just get rid of the sounds or also the pop up on the IC ?
