I owned that exact 1970 W-30 post coupe (not same color) many years ago. 1 of 252 with 4 speed and the only one with the super-rare W-27 aluminum rear 12-bolt diff only available in that year. I found it with an original 54k miles in garage in Portland, Or. I did a complete frame-off restoration- luckily, no rust and it had all the numbers matching parts other than exhaust manifolds (they were replaced with headers). In recent years it has gone through several different collectors and auctions.

I had a 71 and a 72 Cutlass S (both 350 Cars) and a full size 82 Cutlass Calais. (couldn't get out of its own way lol) Sounds like you had a good one . What was your color combo?

These are ya'lls "dream" cars.... you need to think bigger (the Lusso excepted--I miss driving my buddy's FF terribly).

I had a 71 and a 72 Cutlass S (both 350 Cars) and a full size 82 Cutlass Calais. (couldn't get out of its own way lol) Sounds like you had a good one . What was your color combo?

Mine was red with black stripes. I also had a green with white stripes 70 W hardtop. I was doing restorations in the 80s, and had built up a good amount of Olds parts. My Dad worked for Olds in Lansing all his life.

Grew up in a Buick, Olds Pontiac family. Didn't buy Fords until I started working for them.
