Hi guys-

Do the drive modes impact the suspension or handling? I know it alters the steering, but I've read conflicting info about changes to suspension stiffness. Just as an FYI, I have Steeda lowering springs & front/rear adjustable sway bars (not sure if they would matter).

Thanks!

Dave

No, it doesn’t change steering either.

I’d rather have a good handling suspension setup before the air ride because of weight. Dynamic suspension or even some Magneride would be awesome.

I wish Ford would offer an ST+ package. They could adapt the magneride system from the mustang, active exhaust also from the mustang, add the GT350 front 6 pot brembos, Lower it from the factory, and upgrade the wheels to a 22x10.

Then it would threaten the little pony
But it coukd be a sneaky stealthy ride

Thanks for the answers!

It would be a sweet addition to have something to stiffen it up a bit.

My favorite thing is to drive next to someone in a "sporty" car, then see them in the rear view as we take that big freeway transition curve, and of course they have to speed up & pass on a straight away while I'm just cruising.

Sport mode tightens up the electric steering.
I think the description in om. Is less than fully informative
The system lessens vehicle applied tq to the steering rack., sooo..it "gives" more driver feedback.. well ok...but it does not jump out at you.
But it does give us imo better 2 handed feel,on curvy roads...which equates to smiles improving,

It firms it up, makes it heavier…tighter….many ways to describe it but switching between normal and sport on the highway it’s easy to feel the difference.

Nope
A dark horse has a spot in my garage...
Problem is ... I just can't justify it..
A car that would be driven once a month
But I do need a new hobby

You can have a laugh
I bought the ST for my wife to replace her 13 year old edge.
She didn't know about sport mode until a month or so ago
Mind you...to her the throttle is more like an on or off switch...all or nothing
She never really modulated application of the go pedal..
In the ST She is learning...application of go pedal is a smooth application vice , the way the edge was.
205 hp vs. The insane 3.0 hp
Now she comments regularly..she has to be easier on the go pedal to not go too fast to soon
I showed her sport and the other modes ,
My intent was the slippery mode for our impending winter weirdness.
She drove in sport a few miles.....
I created a monster
