The driver power seat does not work on my Ford Explorer ST. What can it be? Who knows? The main issue is the configuration of the power seat. Memory does not work. The light under the seat works and power exists, but it does not go in any position.
Try pulling the negative terminal of the battery for a few minutes. Sometimes these modules just need a good reboot. If you have a MY2020, there is also a driver seat module firmware update.
Did you ever find the solution? Mine is doing same exact thing. Memory buttons don’t work and none of the switch control work. The light under the driver seat is on though and when I push the button once it’s almost like I can hear a clicking. Did disconnecting battery help? Was it power seat control module?
