Driver's D pillar trim cracked

Was getting out of the car today and noticed the rear D pillar trim is cracked. No impact or trauma to the area that I know of. Anyone else have this problem??

looks more like it was cut. the rubber edge is also cut.

It is definitely a crack, the crack goes deep under the glass. There is not enough space for a blade in that crevice, also the plastic and glass are otherwise intact.

maybe have the dealer take a look to see if it falls under warranty.
