Great idea, we've been asking for it for a long time. There are products I will buy through AliExpress, they have been few and far between. That said, this one gives me a funny feeling, don't know why, but I'd pass on this one. Now after 10 or 12 are running this successfully...

Price is down to $47 with discount. I decided it was worth the gamble at that price. Supposed to arrive early Dec.

update: Arrived in 8 days. Works!

Update: i have to report that on two occasions, the mode was not what i had last used. Not sure what the circumstances are that made it fail. Given the number of times i have started the car in the past few days, it's about 5-10% of the time.

Battery state of charge is one of the pre cursor to instrument panel issues or my view changed to basic
Might try fully charging battery
Then afyer your days running around. Pop charger in and see what percent or state of charge is.
Stop and go , short drives. Will nor bring battery back up to 95%
Especially if running heater blowers, or ac blowers at high levels,
It's good you found a goodie

I ordered mine yesterday. Looks easy enough to install. Even if it only works 90% of the time it’s worth it! Cyber Monday sale brought it down to $42 I think.

LOL! Even the title is a bit odd! Took me a minute to figure out what it was when I first stumbled across it.

I've had this in for a few weeks now and so far it's worked. Every time I start the vehicle it's in Sport mode. However, when I remote start the vehicle, which I'm doing a lot lately with the cold temps, it doesn't work. But it says that in the description.

Yup! I think it's great! Weather has been bad the past couple of weeks--I've left it in slippery mode. It's really nice not to have to set mode every car start.

Failure rate is probably 20% now... that is, it won't be the mode I left it in when I start the car. There is also the potential that it can do harm since this is an unknown device from China. You have to accept the risk and imperfect performance. If I were to do it again, I probably would NOT buy one.

Ok. But aren't most of the electronics imported into the US from China? I know we get some from Mexico and Taiwan but most of it comes from China. I'm all for "Made in America" but not sure I would trust something electronic made in the US over something made in China because I'm sure all the components were made there and it was just put together here. However, I'll take your advice and probably stay away.

Not talking "made in". I mean it is sourced from there and not evsn sold here in proper outlets.

True! Got to wonder why no one sells them here when so many people want what it does. Hmmmmmm.
