Guerss you're one of those guys that likes their ST loud all the time haha fair enough. I love my Gibson Axle Back, don't need my ST loud at all times.
I wouldn’t say I want it super loud but I definitely want a more sporty sound with a full catback.
Not to sound negative but I rev it and it sound meh and then it calms down and the flex pipes rattle.

I don’t think there’s really a big difference.

I have to say that I may be biased, but I absolutely love my aFe exhaust system. Just throwing out another great option. I love the sound and quality. Plus like the Thermal, it gets rid of the terrible stock flex pipes.

You’re one of the few that has aFe, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with the aFe system yet.

I have the Corsa exhaust from Lethal Performance and in my opinion it has a good sound and isnt loud at cruising speeds. Especially for not having any mufflers. The Black tips are I want to say 4 inch and look really good. Still need to do the mid pipes to get rid of the flex pipes and eventually replace the down pipes.

I'm sorry for my delay in responding. I have some videos in one of the other threads. Let me see if I can find which thread.

Sounds good! I like it!
I absolutely love it. I can't say that I have any complaints. It has a good tone and zero drone.

Just had the Borla cat back s type exhaust installed and I am very happy with the results. They look and sound great. On startup they're very aggressive sounding then they simmer down. Highly recommend these pipes.

I'll add a vote to the mbrp axle back system. Less than 15 minutes to install. The video review on the site is actually my truck.

I’m gonna try a hybrid exhaust. Thermal R&D mid pipes with the MBRP installer series exhaust. They both got delivered a few days ago but I haven’t gotten around to installing them yet. I might go to an exhaust shop. How’d you guys install yours? Did you cut the pipes but keep the mufflers/resonators or did you remove the whole thing in one piece?

I had dealer install the exhaust. I'm going to list the oem original set.

Been meaning to post and I’ll try to get pics / videos. I had the Mbrp axle back kit. I was a little frustrated with it as the tips didn’t line up that great and there was some drone around the 2,000- 2,300 range RPM wise. So I was searching through here and saw that one member did an axle back homemade kit with basically just new tips and some vibrant resonators. So I purchased 2 Vibrant 1141 resonators from Amazon. Took it to a local custom exhaust shop and had them weld those on between the axle and the tips. Looks phenomenal and sounds even better. Has a nice deep tone to it and in hindsight I should have just pieced some 2.5” pipe together, got the resonators and new tips for pry half the cost. No more drone at all. I’ll get some pics and video(s). Shop did an excellent job welding and also lining up the tips.

Bottom line: 2.5” pipe from the axle back with some of those vibrant resonators and new tips gives you the same sound and performance as anything else as well all know the exhaust on these is really just a sound change and it’s pry cheaper. Don’t go my route as all in I’m at about $1,000 between axle back, resonators and welding.

I am looking for exhaust advice for my new 2022 ST.
Borla has alot of info on their website and i am thinking the S type might work for me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Black stainless tips look sharp!
After a ton of watching the site here, I decided on the Thermal 3" cat back system. I couldn't be happier. The sound is amazing, and there is no drone at cruising speeds, whatever they be.

Do you have after market downpipes? I have spd and the thermal did not reach could not connect there was about 5 inches apart.
