My local dealer is giving 2000 off the 2024 Explorer St, they only have 5 in stock and 3 in transit. When I bought mine about this time last year I felt lucky to just pay approx 700 over MSRP and get the exact setup that I wanted, the ad below is what they are selling now. It's about the same price I paid, but I did not get a discount. Thinking you should get at least that discount if not more for a new 2023. I guess it depends on your local market.

Most of the approx 700 was for tinted windows, door edge moulding, and paint protection. I considered it very reasonable considering the other dealership's markups were 4 to 5 times that amount, about two weeks after I bought it they put all the ST sales on hold for about 8 months. I questioned the paint protection charge, so they dropped the markup to about 550. I think they had it ceramic coated, did not ask cause I did not know such a thing existed at the time.
I bought one on Saturday. We got 2% over invoice, 0% interest and $8k over bluebook on trade in. We absolutely love this vehicle! Big upgrade from our Jeep Wrangler.

I bought my 2023 middle of march. Got $3200 off msrp and 0% for 60 months. I got 30K for my 22 subaru outback with 34,000 miles on it and a headache since day 1. Other dealers were offering 27k
Absolutely love it.
