Just booked my ST Experience at NC on June 15th. Super excited. What are somethings you guys wished you knew before going?

So I have been checking everyday. And there was only one spot left on the one I signed up for. Maybe somebody canceled or something.

I called to reschedule a few weeks ago due to a work conflict and was basically told they are booked the rest of the year and if we let our spot go the will charge us a $150 rebooking fee to book another one if a spot opens up. She said they are trying to open more dates but the Biltmore is being difficult.

I'm waiting on the NC experience as well. Maybe they should just move it to Charlotte with the Shelby experience.

So...... this is a really stupid question, but in looking over the material, it doesn't look very clear. I'd this for the owner and a guest (total of 2 drivers), or solely for 1 person for the experience? Sorry of this seems like a dumb question.

Two people may participate. The only consideration is that it limits the time a single participant would have behind the wheel.

Just got back from the Utah class. Great time. On certain event like the times course they give you 6 laps. You can do all six or split it between drivers.

That's awesome to know! I will be looking at going to the Utah class as well. Try and make it a fee day event.

I purchased my ST beginning of February 2020… I had my trip planned for May of that year… Are they rescheduling?

They are not, my niece bought same time you did I called last month and said no, they held courses last year and scheduled for this year they will not take reservations if it’s been more than a year after purchase

With everything that went on last year, travel bans, lockdowns, etc I can't imagine that they wouldn't find a way to accommodate you. Call them personally and ask.

I think if you were booked and had to cancel because of the pandemic they will reschedule you. If you just waited a year you may be out of luck.

Had our driving day on May 26 in Park City and it was very valuable as well as a ton of fun!! Learned a few things on the trail ride in particular. On the autocross, I knocked 14 seconds off between the first pass and the final one!! They are now running a GoPro like camera in the cars that offers two simultaneous views, one out the windshield and one inside. The SD card I got from "our" car didn't have the Mac software on it so I've been in touch with tech support to get it working properly.

Complaints? No biggies. The food at the Hyatt was not the best I've ever had at a hotel, but OK. For example, I ordered a steak medium rare and it came medium well, but it was edible. I think part of the problem may be staff shortages due to COVID as well as it being a bit of a down season between the skiers and the hikers/bikers.

All in all, it was a terrific experience!!

Ken
