Did any of the models show which gear you are in on the cluster? My F150 always shows the gears, and the Explorer doesn’t. Shoot, I had to go into settings just to get the RPM’s to show.

You need to get a tune to show the gear your in.

Just off the top of my head:

Front strut insulator
Rear diffuser
Front recovery hook and threading
Camera sprays
Heated windshield wiper park
Front LED temperature setting display
And the biggest one... 4 bolt rear differential mount subframe
Power 2nd row seat for 3rd row access? (I'm not 100%)
Power 3rd row fold? (I'm not 100%)
Half of those were removed for the 21. The front strut and rear diffuser..link? The suframe was 1 bolt for majority of 21s. So much misinformation.

but the 22 does have the proper camera fix. Has the wind noise fix. Got rid of that plastic junk between second row. Otherwise the 21 and 22 are near identical. The 20 was the most feature packed and bug packed. Take your pick. I’ll take reliability any day.

On the 22's, because they removed the console between the second row, they added fold out cupholders onto the back of the front console, right below the hvac controls and power points.

Exactly. Which it is subjective on which route is better but you still have the same amount of cupholders but you don’t have to worry about kids in particular tripping over something when venturing to the back seats.

Hope you're still following. Where in FORscan to show RPM's?

You don’t have to go through Forscan to show the Tachometer. Press the menu button on your steering wheel then scroll down to “Display Setup” and in there you can enable the Tachometer for Eco, Normal, & Slippery modes. Looks like every other mode automatically has a tach. In those modes the tach will look like your fuel gauge and be on the opposite side of the fuel guage.

I thought I had read somewhere you could make a change in FORScan to have it show a numerical value for RPM and not just the tachometer. I have that enabled already.

Can you share more on this? Would love to do that.

I think there were some gauge settings in Forscan, but if I recall correctly they weren’t for US models. Not 100% sure since it’s been awhile since I poked around in there. But instead you can get some form of gauge/diagnostic device or app that would display the tach in numerical value. I just use this cheap thing I got from ebay.

My 13 Limited had those as well....and in all honesty...I prefer my 13 Exployer Limited over this new 22 St Exployer.

What do you miss? My 22 ST is better than my 17 limited in pretty much every way possible. Only thing that was cool about my limited was it had a button to adjust the pedals.

Of course the obvious its faster and I LOVE the cooling seats....its funny you say the button to adjust pedals cause I miss this the MOST. but with my 13 Limited I miss the little things Scan Button, Glove Box light Glove Box shelf, Console Lights, the Rear Light it also drove alot smoother.

Wait your 13 was faster than the 22? No way. Maybe I’m reading it wrong.

but I actually miss the cooling seats of my 17. Ventilated seats on my 22 largely suck.

I was saying the 22 is obviously faster and I LOVE the cooling seats...my 13 only had heated.

Okay yeah that makes sense lol but fyi the seats aren’t actually cooled. They’re ventilated. The 5th gen had cooled seats. And it’s a pretty big difference.

I just traded my 13 for the 2021 ST. My 13 had 127000 miles on it and ran like a top. It was an XLT but had all of the options available including moon roof, leather, heated seats, etc. It was Kodiak Brown with creme colored leather, and I have never seen another one like it.
