Not similar at all… other than a Ford vehicle.

Not saying the same cause. They are saying it can roll away like the Explorer, but are not going to add the park brake function.

Well, if it’s a 2WD it can roll away similar to the Explorer. However, if it’s 4WD, it depends on what drive mode it’s in…. The issue is significantly different and the resulting fix as well.

I also own both subject vehicles, F150 Raptor and Explorer ST. Just sayin.

Of course the fix is different since the failure cause is different. If you read the article they make a point of how it can roll away and cause later damage or injury. Same as the Explorer. Since they have a solid fix for it they are not bothering with setting the park brake like on the Explorer. That is the only point I am making.

I don't know why people get so bent out of shape because the parking brake gets set automatically. You literally have to do nothing other than put your foor on the go pedal to get it to release. I wish all cars had it. My Ram had it but it was selectable. Honestly auto park brake and auto brake hold are 2 of the best things since sliced bread if you ask me.

Well I didn’t ask, but I disagree with you 100%. Your fears, feels, and driving situations do NOT dictate that everyone must or even should be forced to comply with your desires.

To whom are you referring to when you use the word "your"?

Welp, I quoted “your” post, so…
So based on me liking the option of auto park brake and brake hold can you please tell me what my fears, feels and driving situations are. I am genuinely curious how you can extrapolate so much information about me based on this comment.

You should reread and rethink your post and it should be clear. Otherwise you’re blind to your own prejudices. Bless your heart…
