Factory Boost

Anyone know any of the details on the factory boost for the ST?

They are a torque based engine strategy. They will make whatever boost they are told to achieve the torque target. That said it’s generally in the low 20s, but that will vary based on temperature, DEA, etc.

Ok thanks, yeah it looks like you can buy it from Ford and have them install it. That will keep your warranty valid.

I believe the owners manual says 18 is max boost.

Edit: Page 386 does show 18 PSI max. Newer manuals may have changed. This is from the 3rd printing version.

It’s a floating number. There is no “setting” per se.
