This was my first time using the ST to tow a long distance. I went from Suffolk, VA to Williamsport PA. I was pretty hot today and the vehicle handled the trip well. I just wish that there were better drivers on the road who actually cared about others on the road. Great mileage 27 on the trip down (no trailer), 23 on the way back (trailer, car and lots of stop and go traffic around Washington D.C..) PXL_20240708_213923150.jpg

23 MPG is pretty great for towing that load!

You sure that’s not a typo and you meant 13mpg? I think it would be a struggle to get 23mpg in stop and go traffic in DC without a car trailer + car…

The vehicle had no engine and transmission, so it was kind of light. most of the heavy traffic was in the D.C. area, otherwise smooth flowing traffic.

I made a mistake in reporting the milage for my trip. It was 27 on the way to Suffolk, but it was only 18 on the way back. My average for the whole trip was 23.
Sorry for the misinformation.

Lol, I was wondering about that. I get 18-19 hauling a motorcycle on a U-Haul trailer, so there was no way in hell you got that towing.

I did the same over Jul 4th weekend. Went to my friend shop to drop the corvette off (Not mine).
Getting about 18.5 MPG. Half of the trip was without a car on the trailer.

I was going to comment on the SVO also. edog, are you bringing it back to life?
It's going to be a parts car. I had some parts stolen and this car had the items that I need to finish mine. It has significant rust damage, but the guy I got it from gave me the patch panels to fix it if I want to.
