At 1/8" thick, at least you don't have to worry about flex and putting your foot through those expensive speakers!

The acrylic trim rings are finally done. I farmed those out since I don’t have a router table and wasn’t gonna try to cut plastic by hand. B72C7AF3-7EC8-40C0-9708-A0696A6E1552.jpeg

Wish I were there to hear it. If it sounds half as good as it looks you should be seriously rocking! Mad fab skills!

@UNBROKEN, Your work is phenomenal, hard to describe how much I respect it. It's been fun watching you play. I'm someone that has spent many multiples of 10K on quality home and automotive audio gear. That said, I have a lot of parts that are aftermarket (read: many of my joints), and getting comfortable in the seat or sitting for an extended period of time is tricky.

I'm someone who keeps their vehicle as clean as it gets, my floor mats are not dirty. I can't help thinking that if I were driving your vehicle, the speakers on the floor would simply end up as a grate to clean my shoes on. I'm sure you've considered it, but isn't there some type of acoustically transparent fabric that would help keep the debris from ending up in the floor speakers?

I have covers that hang over the kick panel pods for daily use along with Husky floor liners that I trimmed to fit. Nothing is exposed unless I’m at a competition or showing it off.

What is that tiny little thing?

Looks like you decided against front stage only

It’s an extremely small amplifier. And this isn’t rear fill like most people think. All I’m doing is creating a fake reflection with a mono signal with all the center processing removed then the signal delayed about 20 milliseconds and attenuated 6-8db.
Done right it widens and deepens the front stage. If you actually hear the rear widebands it was done wrong.

Not Dallas but we kick off the season at MTI in College Station all this weekend. Cars are en route from all over the country already.
