5 weeks of Retail order Explorers being scheduled next week. Fingers crossed many of us get picked, and somehow some MCS's are included.
Ford announced last week that starting May 26 all retail ordered Explorers will not include MCS. So this is in addition to the previously announced action for stock and fleet orders.

Anyone know how long it should take to address the recall? My atlas blue ST has been on the dealer lot for over a week waiting for the recall issue to be addressed… I thought it was a simple software update??

On the fractured rear bolt/recall thread (elsewhere on this board), FordMatt (who works for Ford I do believe), says the "fix" for the recall has been out there since 11 May I'm pretty sure, and yes, it should be just programming the PCM to do the electronic brake "fix". That said, when I called one dealer who has an ST on the way, they said "we won't sell it to you anyway, because they have to replace that bolt and that won't happen until the 3rd Quarter". Of course every other Dealer/person I've talked to (and that post by FordMatt) says that's BS. The fix for non police vehicles is indeed the PCM reprogram. That is out there.....as I've seen ST's fixed already (just get their window sticker....go to Ford's recall portion of the website....put in the VIN....and see if it's fixed). All of Stivers (Montgomery dealer) STs have been fixed, for instance. My Dealer says if they would just run an "Oasis Report" ( I think that's the term), they'd see the fix is the PCM program, no parts needed....and out there since 11 May. IF a bolt breaks, then the fix for that....of course....is the bolt.....per a service bulletin. But that's different than the recall. The NHTSA safety recall .....that fix, is just programming the PCM to engage the electronic brake as soon as you place the vehicle in Park. And to automatically turn the Ebrake off, IF.....1) driver door is closed 2) transmission placed in R or D and 3) give it some gas.

I think unfortunately some Dealers are misinformed and think they're waiting on the bolt in the 3rd quarter. That's only true for Police models. MAKE them run that Oasis report (or whatever it's called)....talk to the Service Manager at your dealer (often Sales people don't know the facts on a recall). If they look into it properly, they should see it's readily fixable in minutes now. Stivers did 6 STs in mere hours.....over a week ago.

But I don't have my ST yet....so I could be "full of it". I don't think so.............

Just spoke with Ford CS and they confirmed the . Retail orders now in as well, so yes, no more MCS. But those F150 Platinum order holders may be more pissed off than anyone else I've seen on the subject...

I'm also in production as of this week and window sticker has been generated and attached. I ordered Jan. 26th.

Base price has increased exactly $1,000 as well as destination $200
I'm not getting the MCS

All good .... happy it's being built. I'll receive at least $1K in rebates and bought the vehicle 3% under Invoice so all good on my end.

That's great news! Do you know why your window sticker is green and doesn't mention the ST Experience? Is that something they're removing, too?

Learned something again today.....had wondered why mine too was green....and yes, I have RWD instead of 4 wheel drive on the one I ordered. I just found out one I'm watching at a Dealer....thinking about maybe buying....that still isn't there, was ordered back on 22 Sep! They've been waiting for OVER 8 months now....and no, there is still no sign of it arriving. It supposedly shipped.

So IF my wait is over 8 months on mine (ordered 8 Jan), that means....I still have over 3 months to go....as in......after 8 September. Isn't that the month the 2023 year models start rolling out?

The 2022 models started production the second week of November 2021. Mine was produced the third week of November and delivered December 7. Ordered September 22.

The "school" being put on either in Utah or Ashville for ST buyers/owners. Ford is putting it on this year......many/various dates....you enroll using your VIN on the website...and basically, you pay to get there....they put you and a guest up for the night feed you three meals....and give you a "driving experience" with the ST. It's for new owners of the ST. And it's FREE! It's listed on the Window Stickers that are red. Not sure why it's not listed on the Window Stickers that are Green (RWD), but I checked, and I'm eligible to attend....ONCE ...I take possession (or IF, I take possession?). You have to have your VIN and a Delivery date/date you took Possession of your ST. Not sure how long they'll keep having events, but I saw events out into August. I think they take 13 owners (or is it 14?) and one guest per event. The event, is 2 days....arrive one afternoon....dinner, spend the night...breakfast....drive the event.....catered lunch....finish the "drive event".

Nice, I ordered the same color. Hope you have better luck than me, I ordered from Dean Sellers in Troy on 11/30, went into production 1/24, was shipped off-site unfinished on 1/26, and haven't heard anything since.

Mine is just the Enthusiast ST with 400A pkg and hopefully it'll spend less time off-site !
