Update on mine . it Finally sent me a shipped email and I got a email and a call from the dealer saying it wont be delivered till feb 10th - feb 16th unfortunately. So now it will be more then 2 months after its built when they are going to deliver it

That is ridiculous. The dealer is in the process of working a misbuilt vehicle request for the 1 bolt rear subframe being installed on mine. Hopefully Ford will answer them today. The lead tech and parts manager have been sending info back and forth with Ford.

How did you find out that it was only built with 1 bolt subframe? I have been seeing post about the subframe and want to know what to check when mine finally gets delivered ?

Just look under the rear of the vehicle from the middle. When you look forward you can see the back of the rear subframe and diff. If it has 2 you'll see 2 mount bolts on the black subframe if you have the correct version. If not it looks like this.

Doesn't sound very "shipped" to me.

My dealer said a week or so ago basically between January 27 and February 7. Still showing as built on Ford. It doesn't take more than 5 days to ship coast to coast by tractor trailer so 10th to 16th seems excessive if it's already in shipped status!

Yes it seems very excessive especially sense it was supposably shipped on Jan 16th and its only coming from Chicago plant to Denver CO which is only 14 hour away! I really don't understand why it will take a month basically to get to my dealer from Chicago. I am not happy about that and it seems like my ST is put on the back burner like it gets there when it gets there type of deal

If yours hasn't said shipped yet on ford tracking but the dealer is telling you that time frame. that is very interesting to me! Keep us updated on yours im curious

Okay I will defiantly be checking mine for that and making sure they fix it cause thats crazy we wait these incredibly long wait times and then have to worry about them not installing the correct 2 bolt subframe. Thank you for posting about this now i can make sure mine was built correctly

I used to manage car hauling so this is likely 90% on Ford. The trucks are available and running and Ford pays a decent rate to ship them. I looked up the Chicago Assembly Plant on Google and read the reviews. Always a good time since truckers will let you know what's up in those. It's a pretty miserable place to pick up from, apparently.

All I can assume is that Ford built out as many 2022's as they could to finish out the year but lacked some parts to complete them. Chips, whatever. Lots got full with incomplete trucks, then the bad weather we had, holidays. Likely backed up on top of their usual issues. So here we are.

Recent satellite view shows a LOT of trucks out there on the back lot. They make both Aviators and Explorers here but most of those are going to be Fords!

Sounds like we have pretty similar timelines.

Yes our timelines are basically Identical.
We will have to see if our STs get delivered in the time frame that they are saying!

Yeah the dealer apparently was just as surprised. Came in on Tuesday and they immediately gave me a call.

Okay Ford tracking says it will be here before 2.3.22 now... from 2.10.22 - 2.16.22 initial Estimated Delivery dates. Seems like ford has no idea when They will Deliver lol

Thank you Brother its been quit a journey ! Yes the next thing is to check that subframe and make sure there 2 bolts and if not I will be following your advice and get them to do a misbuilt vehicle report ! I will update tomorrow when I take delivery and post some pics and update on if mine was built with the 1 bolt subframe or the 2 bolt hopefully!

I also used this tracking on my phone with united road and it sent me nowhere. It doesn't bring up anything to register my email. But I live in MT. Delivery date is set at 6/19- 6/25 so we will see what happens. Ordered on 03/10. I live about 90 min through the pass from Helena so hoping to not make a trip out that way unless I know it’s there. I’ll update if it comes this week or delayed.

My ST was ordered 1/27/23, built 3/20, been waiting for transport. Noticed today that the site is back at step 1 and this is the first time I am able to register my email with United Road. Does that signal it’s possibly been shipped?

Chances are there are QA issues and the vehicle was taken back to the line to be fixed. Your dealer should be able to see it's actual location.

Not what I was hoping to hear but I’ll check Monday and hope for the best.
