Why pay that much? A Thermal R&D 2.5" or 3" system is cheaper and includes the midpipes to replace the crappy factory ones.

Exactly what I always think. Just an expensive rebrand of a not so good exhaust to begin with.

Yep. I love Borla, had them on all my Mustangs in the past, but the design of the system for this Explorer isn't great IMO. If it was half the price, it would be fine. But at several hundred more than all of the full cat-back 3" systems is a joke.

i appreciate the feedback
i did find it at borla for less as well as others
but you know, i have a gazillion ford pass points
they have a tuner as well with a device that can be used as a data logger gauge real time for 825.
plus a warranty
  • Peak Power = 430 hp @ 6,000 rpm

  • Peak Torque = 467 lb-ft @ 3,500 rpm

Save the FordPass points for services or something like tires. You’ll definitely need them at some point as everyone does. That Ford tuner is okay, but IMO opinion isn’t worth it because you can get other custom tunes that are 100% better and cheaper too.
