These are the links to the sheets
for some reason they keep hiding
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...bxZh92wdcE/edit?gid=1931803578#gid=1931803578
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...imywaNF8VJF8/edit?gid=671029316#gid=671029316

forscan software is free for a 2 month trial that you can renew over and over
or pay for a year for 12 dollars, the paid license gets you the ability to add keys etc
but for everyday stuff
the free license will fit 90% of your needs
a bluetooth dongle like the mx plus is an excellent item, but bluetooth has a habit of dropping out sometimes while making changes
the mx cabled model is the preferred item
i have both
both work , but the cable one never gets confused and always connects and stays connected..
https://www.explorerst.org/threads/forscan-spreadsheets.7909/
https://forscan.org/home.html
read the forscan link....it has all the guts and bolts info you need
read the forum there and all watch all the videos and train the brain
always BACK UP the modules before you change anything and always download the as builts files and save as a pdf or other document to have as a backup if things go astray
https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-ex/?ref=forscan
https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-mxp/?ref=forscan
both dongles are available at amazon obd store or the odb website
https://www.fordserviceinfo.com/
https://www.fordserviceinfo.com/AsBuilt
the ford service link you need to create an account , its free and you can access it via FORD owner page or direct to the link above

and lastly a GOOD battery charger that can put out 15 amps at least, for the AGM battery
when you do changes with the KEY on, engine off, the car uses a ton of power and having the battery getting the juice is a priority
also during the forscan changes or hook up, make sure the ac is off, headlights are OFF, seat are off , etc. headlights default to auto each key cycle so you have to rotate the knob to off when the forscan tells you to do a key off, back on cycle

Shouldn't the second spreadsheet be named 2020-2024 Explorer, rather than 2021-2024 Explorer?
i dont control that, the info comes from the boss,
but i will ask him about it .
its his spreadsheet format. i am just the conduit (y)

Here are some things I have been messing with. Confirmed a couple, and others were a lost cause that I could not figure out even after hours of pouring through the spreadsheet. I know there are people smarter than me when it comes to this. Hope it helps.

The common sheet is not very long. I know there has to be more. Can you view cameras while driving? How do you set ambers as DRL and not the white led strip?

I should have said simply is there any more progress instead of just common pages. Just Wondering when it will have the changes available like the 2020-2024 page. My ignorance in thinking it was a quick process, I see now it seems to take a while to achieve. I did not knw this because the 2020-2024 list was nearly full when i purchased my 2022 in late 2022.

Not much has changed in 20 through 24 models..all the areas have been explored
Forscan only allows items that are factory loaded in the modules to be turned on or off
It does not add software..if factory updates a module and part of the update changes module programing to reflect an item that be enabled or disabled..then it's exploited
Ford has made very minor module updates, but not added features...
Many modules are used across various trim and model lines.

25s have a new Google based infotainment
Also 24 model year fwd. Ford really locked down
On encryption and it's very possible
Forscan will be locked out, on what is allowed to be manipulated.

It's already effecting tire size changes in some vehicles, as well as start stop and walk away.
That being said...people often use the spreadsheet lists on modules and try things to see if they effect changes good or bad
It's very time consuming
There are many people in background always looking and expirementing

so you’re saying there won’t be a forscan list for the 2025 like there is for the 2020 - 2024?

There is a sheet for 25s
It's just not as populated as of today
My assistant with a 25 is also a firefighter in canada.. he is in CA right now https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...abeq53J0mYxbxZh92wdcE/htmlview#gid=1931803578
I saw the

sheet and how it’s not as populated I just was interpreting what you said above as Ford locked it down so much that for scan will not be able to make many changes tot he 2025. I made many changes on my 2022 and it would sway me away from trading in my truck to get a 25 if I couldn’t use foreskin to make those same changes. Why I was asking.
I was just a little ignorant and thinking it was a quick process like you scan the computer and then livinitup just list out all the changes that can be made. But I see now it’s not that simple.
