Good evening, I found that my front axle seal leaks. The axle appears to go through the oil pan. It seems to be leaking where it enters. My ST has 58,600 +,- . Taking it to the dealer 12/3/24. Hopefully it’ll be covered under the drivetrain warranty. I’ve had Fords for 40+ years, the quality has fallen off a cliff. Anybody have anything like this happen? Thanks

The FADA TSB for the front axle is under powertrain warranty along with CV boots, rear differential and transfer case. I've had all of the above replaced in the past couple years. I have less than 2 weeks left on powertrain but purchased an ESP 2 years ago; I have yet to have a repair under ESP bumper to bumper extension. 2 years left on that.

What went wrong with your rear differential and transfer case? If you don’t mind me asking.

No idea they said both were damaged and had to be replaced. The differential had pieces of metal inside and the transfer case had been burned up.

So I took my ST to the dealer and it WAS covered by the warranty.
The service advisor said that they replaced a leaking oil pan gasket under warranty, also. That was second time in 18 months that the oil pan gasket was leaking. HEY FORD, GET ON THE BALL!!
