Front center storage cover

Just picked up a 2022 Platinum. This center cover is scratched to crap. I don’t see where they sell just the cover so I bought the entire storage unit with cover from eBay. Has anyone replaced this? Looks like I may have to remove the entire storage unit? I don’t see where I can get to the side screws for just the cover.

An easier solution is to just buy the gloss black or carbon fiber center console covers you can find on Amazon.

Yeah but doesn’t fit the platinum trim. I did look into this

my point was you cannot buy just the OEM cover. and doesn't match the platinum wood grain. id rather buy the OEM and have it be correct. Thanks though

Throw a sticky pad on it…covers the scratches and makes it useful.

Well that grey doesn’t match the wood grain and it’ll scratch again.

Part arrived today. It took me about 1 1/2 hours. What a project. I had to loosen the entire center console
and slide it back. Then the top half of the center console would pop off. Once all the wires are disconnected, I was able to work on it outside of the car.there are 4 screws holding the entire assembly on from underneath. Transferring the cigarette lighter was the trickiest part! Lol. I could do it again in half the time. There were a lot of “WTF’s” and “please don’t break” haha
