This morning my car started making a thunk sound from the front. It doesn’t do it every time but it mainly does it when I’m slowing down and almost at a complete stop. Took it to the shop they said they couldn’t see anything wrong. Kind of hard to hear but I took a video from inside the car and you can hear it. If anyone knows what this could be please let me know. Thanks.

Are you hitting any uneven pavement? If so I would say sway bar end links or top strut bearing or strut. Seem to be common problems. If it’s when you hit the brakes possibly a loose caliper bolt? Just guessing here.

I don’t think it would be the pavement it’s the same places I drive everyday. The shop inspected the brakes and said everything looked good with them and didn’t notice anything else that would be causing it. So I’m at a bit of a loss trying to figure it out.
