Hello, I just joined this forum today in the process on picking up my 2021 Atlas Blue Explorer ST1 tomorrow, I was wondering what the actual MPG on the highway is, of course the rating states 18~24. Thanks,

Highway driving I'll get 23/24 MPG. High of 25 MPG but not often. Short drives it will drop to around 20 MPG.

I'm getting 18 MPG in Sport and making it work a little. Very impressed. Haven't gotten any real highway miles yet.

That really depends on where you live and how you drive. I'm in Phoenix and the freeways around here move along pretty well. The posted limit of 65 mph is just a suggestion as it is really 75-80 mph. I have friends that live 50 miles NW of Los Angeles and when we go there I get just shy of 21 mpg (hand calculated). We try to go through LA when traffic is lightest but with speeds of 80+ mph your not going to get the best mpg. The best mpg I have ever achieved is 26 mpg but that was coming down from an elevation of 7500 ft to 1200 ft over the course 75 miles doing the speed limit of 65 mph or less.

When we received our ST we were averaging 15mpg city. Had to relearn to drive to not be speeding everywhere. We get about 17.5 mpg now city. We drove it up to Park city Uath for the ST experience last July. Did about 24mpg highway.

Welcome.

We are averaging ~20.5 on mixed city/freeway driving. Just highway we are getting around 22.

My over all I think is around 13 for the 1000 miles.

My problem might be, very very short trips. And good amount of idling.

Also weird for me, auto start stop still active on sports mode. Only sometimes.

Mine's getting a bit better than the Fuelly average. A 2,600 mile road trip last summer averaged 24.4, with a best of 26.4

Very odd bug. First I’ve heard of that happening.

I just did a 2100 mile round trip from Gilbert AZ to Fort Worth Tx and back and my average for the trip was 21.7. Cruise set on 85 to 90 depending on posted speed limit. Also included some in town driving while in TX.

Using the built in milage meter and setting the cruise control at 75 on I95 Turnpike (MD, DE NJ) on multiple trips same traffic and driving conditions I generally average 1 MPG better in Sport Mode than Normal mode. Generally 23.5 in Sport snd 22.5 in Normal. Have Borla S Cat-Back and Ford Performance tune. Use 93 octane.

2020 running 87 octane since day one, average tank is around 20.5mpg for me with a 75/25 highway/city mix, but if I do almost all highway I probably see around 23ish.
