Thanks! I was just curious because I was watching NaviUpgrade and I got to the part where he was going over if you have a my20 unit you will brick your unit with this mod. I have an older 21 st and was jw what the odds of me having a my20 unit would be.
I have a 2021 Explorer ST and no issues.

And a Sync software update should bring it back to stock as well I believe
A Sync update I believe will remove all of the installed mods, but it will not remove the jailbreak itself, so a simple update won't quite get you back to stock.

Got the latest Beta set up. Only took three tries to jailbreak

Question - does the map (whether it's Google or Waze) always take up at least half the screen? Just wondering, not a complaint or anything.

Yes, that's my experience as well. It's a limitation of Android Auto and not the mod.

What a game changer. Was looking at the Lincoln screen swap and this was a welcome find. Getting timing for the jailbreak to work was a PITA.
Other than that a breeze to install. Could not be happier.

How many people have this running with wireless carplay adapter? I currently use one and it is so convenient. I don't want to give that up if it's too laggy. I can deal with some but not crashes. Also, has anyway tried uninstalling the mod if there are any issues?

I'm using Android Auto with a Motorola MA1 adapter, it seems to work just fine for me.

Has anyone tried it with a Carplay adapter, noticing any difference when using the full screen?

Two different models of mine crash periodically. Straight corded....solid as a rock. lagging is noticeable when corded but even more apparently with the wireless dongle. for the most part, not an issue since addresses get entered by voice. If Siri doesn't recognize my voice search, i will use the phone though. Screen is only good for one or two button presses--otherwise it's frustrating. I will try my other wireless dongles when i have time but to me, it's totally worth it.

Using a CarPlay adapter with this mod and have no issues other than a slight delay. The delay is well worth it for me when I don't need a charge and just hop in the car with full screen!

Which dongle?

My Mavlou crashes often. That was previously my fave. Then tried Carplaykits CP1. crashes but not nearly as often. Ihave 3 more dongles to try this weekend...

Was looking at several and after going down a youtube rabbit hole figured the sale price on this one was worth giving it a shot.

I've had it for a couple of months now and love it. Reviews are mixed but when I get in the car with time it takes for me to buckle up and take phone out of my pocket to put in it's mount i'm connected and music is playing.

Has anybody noticed a delay when trying to use the mute button when on a phone call or in a teams call. I hear the audible noise, but it takes a good few seconds before the mute button illuminates. My fear is not being on mute when I really need to be. Lol

I have an apple phone not sure if it’s happening to android users. I am on Beta4 release
