Grinding sound when put into sport, 2020 Explorer ST

Having an issue with my 2020 ford Explorer ST purchased 3 months ago that happened suddenly while driving on the freeway. sudden loud grinding that gets louder on acceleration. it does it at idle as well. The only thing that stops it is not being in sport mode.
Sounds like it may be coming form the engine side of the trans. I don’t know what part that is. PTU?? Vehicle has 80k miles, from the Carfax it was serviced regularly a the dealer. Any suggestions would be great.

Get under there and look around. Remove that rectangular plastic undercover and look for oil leaks. Also check your front axle boots for leaks.
