Quintin here, pleasure is mine, thank you for this platform and for all of you!
Anyway I have become very interested in the ST as of recently and I have my heart dead set on becoming the owner of one. Before I make my purchase, I want to do as much research as possible and well, here I am.. lol. I want to learn about the best year model to buy and all the advise I can get on the pros and cons, 411 on all ST sh!t. I want to have a beast daily driver, that is my end goal, however, horse before the cart and I need info for my purchase. Thank you in advance

Welcome to the forum first of all! If you search the forum you will find that some have had a lot of issues and some have had none. It's like it is hit or miss with these vehicles. I ended up buying a 2020 with low mileage because it has the 4 bolt verses the 3 bolt differential support. I also liked the color and didn't want the sunroof. There is a lot you can do to the rear suspension to beef it up though. If you plan to do mods and tune the vehicle, you have to consider the warranty, if it has one or you opt for an ESP. Some dealers don't care about mods while others will make a fuss about them and will try to blame any failure on them. I got an ESP but chose to tune and add mods anyway. You just have to have the mindset that you may have to pay out-of-poket if they say your mods or tune caused the failure. I mean, they can't just say they won't cover it because you modified the vehicle but if they decide to, now it's up to you to fight it and that can get expensive. So, if you are going to get one, you might want to look for an earlier model year. Some are going to say that the early models had lot's of bugs though. However, I'm seeing people with the new 2025's having a lot of issues as well. Just make sure all the recalls have been done. @2020FordRaptor has done a great job putting together a modding guide. Take a look at it and you will get an idea of what all can be done to these vehicles to make them a "beast daily driver". Cheers!

Hey, welcome to the forum.. You'll find a lot of great info here.

Good luck on your searches, whatever ST you decide on buying you wont regret it.
Personally, I'd look for the ST w/ Street Package. Maybe the '20-'22.

I bought a 2020 ST when they first came out and haven't had any MAJOR issues so far.

Here is what I've done to mine in 5 yrs with 57,000km

Regular maintenance

Battery Replacement x2
- Once within 8 months of owning (under warranty)
- Just recently Dec 24th, new battery install (out of pocket)

Replaced OEM Perrelli tires at 55,000km with Michelin Sport A/S 275/45 R21 <- Amazing BTW
- Perrelli Scorpion tires were ok but I personally wouldn't purchase again.

Tweaked a few mods with Forscan:
- Disabled Double Honk while engine on, walking away
- Disabled Navigation in Motion settings (Type an address while moving)
- Disabled Enhanced Engine Noise

Lastly, Installed Auto Eliminator to disable Auto Start/Stop function. This is a must have fwiw.

Cheers, and good luck..
