No, it's not.

I've seen issues FAAAR worse from all brands. Dodge and Tesla panel alignment are the worst in the industry. My 2018 Chevy truck had wavy panels, I joked it was waving at people as I drove down the road. I've seen BMW's, Honda, Toyotas, Kia's....all of them, not every one coming off the line is perfect. My old man has a 2019 Soul and I assure you the QC is far worse.

Ford has no obligation to "fix" this. And with your attitude, I'd show you a nice plot of sand to pound on.
FYI Ford agreed to fix since gaps above normal tolerance!!! So STFU

Typical Ford, they have never really focused on fit and finish.

When looking to buy my ST, I noticed many that had hoods that were way off. I felt good that mine did not, but felt bad for others that may not notice until they got home. Anyways, got bigger problems today. I noticed a possible exhaust leak several weeks ago and this week the ST started leaking what smells like gear oil. On the rollback she goes this morning. Told the wife she has to use my 2006 Honda Accord...

You sound like a very mature, level headed adult and I bet you approached them with this same level of professionalism.

Thanks for the STFU too. I hadn't heard that since High School, some 20 years ago.

Wanted to give everyone an update on what dealer found, I guess I should start a new thread. Dealer says 'It's the differential speed sensor leaking, the part will be here tomorrow. We will get it replaced and cleaned up.' Just a heads up this, you won't notice this leak until it gets bad, as it is above the access panel that comes down to drain the oil.

Did you have a exhaust leak? A lot of that happening seems like.
