Just returned from our second round trip to/from Arizona since we acquired our 2020 ST in June 2020, and it continues to perform just about perfectly. Total trip was 3,300 miles and my hand calculated MPG was virtually identical to the computer's guess. About the only time it dropped was in Arizona where I could only manage about 22 MPG at 80+ MPH.

On our way home, we spent the "first" night in Kettleman City, CA. We hit I-5 at around 8am and our initial plan was to stop again in Oregon that evening, but as the miles racked up, we decided to press on and make it all the way home to Tacoma, WA. About 14 hours on the road and 927 miles later, we pulled into our driveway around 11pm!! I seriously thought I was way too old (71) to be doing that kind of long distance drive, but the combination of very nice (dry) weather, the adaptive cruise control and lane centering, and the massaging seats I was shocked we made it home comfortably and safely!! About the only thing my wife (who doesn't drive much at all) and I decided was the massaging seats in our '17 F-150 Platinum (that we traded in for the ST) definitely had a bit more padding in the seat bottom!!

And, not only was the trip glitch free, with a couple of minor issues our entire ST ownership experience was been pretty much perfect. Our biggest problems were the SYNC 3/Sirrus update fiasco last year, and the driver's side seat trim breaking and needing to be replaced. That's pretty much it for our "issues"!!

And, of course, every stop at a rest area along the trip (such as this one in Weed, CA), was yet another opportunity to slip it into Sport mode and get back into traffic ... BRISKLY!! :)

Great job on making so many miles in such a short time. I have fond memories of my father and uncle talking about the time they saved on long car trips taking shortcuts.

But you brought up a few good points, I'll mention one for further discussion. The padding on the bottom seat is too thin. What bottom seat padding could we buy that is comfortable and still allows the massage to get through? Anyone find something that works?
