Hey all, new to the board! Has anyone tried using their I Pod 7th Generation w/ lightning cord USB in the ST? I currently have a I Pod Classic (30 pin connector w/ USB) that worked great with my last 4 Ford's w/ Sync. Tried the same setup in the 2021 & does recognize? Have way to much music to dump on my phone

Just get a big enough thumb drive and transfer the music over, easy peasy.

Yes, takes about 20 seconds after it has been started.

The USB is unavailable to connector to the USB for about 20 sec. After that it works.
Searching is unavailable when driving.

Mine loses the USB as the source if that is what I was listening to when I shut it down. Upon restart it will return to the last FM station I listened to. Upon start up and using the voice command SYNC will respond with source unavailable or something to that effect. After about 20 seconds I can make the request again and all is well. It has done this since day one and through all iterations of software updates.
