Intake and BOV

I have a 2025 ST. I am looking to upgrade the intake to an AFE Momentum with oiled filters. I like the enclosed option. My question is, if I wanted to add a BOV down the road would one work with this? Has anyone had experience with this?

S&B is a better closed option and yes you can add a BOV as long as you get a cold side pipe for it. There was a change at the IC…I can’t remember exactly what but make sure you look into that when selecting a cold side charge pipe for the BOV. I’d recommend contacting Brett at FenFab for that.

Why do you recommend the S & B over the AFE? What are the benefits to using it instead?

From an aesthetic point of view…it’s a better looking part.
From a functional point of view…it’s been tested independently to flow more air.

IMO Fenfab is the best way to go intake wise. No intake will add power, so at least add some sounds. The cold side charge pipe is where the BOV can be added, but you will also need an intercooler because all the offerings use the older style connections.

OP said he wants an enclosed intake. Many of us do for various reasons…being quiet is the sole reason I like them closed.

I reached out to CV Fab regarding this…they said they are working on a complete IC kit with pipes that will include a spot for a BOV. They did say they were hoping to have it available in 4-6 weeks.

FenFab is the original and has them now for aftermarket IC’s in 2025 cars.

I reached out to CV because I saw they had a black IC option…but I will check Feb Fab out. Appreciate the input.
