Hello,

Looking for advice, opinions on any who may have lowered their Explorers.

Just ordered the Steeda spring kit for my 2022 ST.

Do I really need to have the truck alignment done with only 2k miles on it after the springs are installed?

Thanks

your effectively changing the suspension geometry by lowering it so yes it will throw your alignment out of wack. Dont hesitate either, it will cut tires quick, You'll want to do it right after.

Has anyone used any camber bolts for the rear or front? Installed h&r some time ago and then when I took it to get aligned they said it was just outside of factory specs but they couldn't get it to factory specs without camber bolts. TYIA

Find a shop that knows what they’re doing. It will align perfectly without any extra parts.

Indeed, I also have the Steeda springs -- before measurements showed quite a bit changed, but they had no problems getting it back in alignment.
