JXB bushing insert

Was there a difference between the left and right inserts? I see they have different part numbers. It sure doesn't look correct. Have you tried contacting JXB?
On the 2 bolt rear subframe, the two bushings are different. you cannot swap them accidentally. They are also different from the single bolt bushing, including the insert.

Update:. looking at JXB's own video (screenshot below), seems like the driver's side insert does stick out a little more. I guess it's normal.

Can anyone with the double JXB inserts comment on the driver's side of mine? It sticks out quite a bit more than the passenger side. Torqued to about 140 ft lbs which is about all I could manage laying flat on my back with no real leverage. Just seems odd.
Mine looks exactly the same. I also thought something seemed off. I completed removed the bolt, checked the threads and all looked ok. I then reinstalled it while getting a bit more aggressive with the floor jack under the diff pumpkin just to make sure the screw wasn’t binging and preventing the insert from fully seating. On my 2 bolt setup the JXB insert fully seated in/on the right side, and sticks out just a bit on the left side just like what you have pictured.

Yes this is normal. The metal center of the diff bushing on the driver's side sticks out further.

The difference must be subtle because in my leisurely driving this morning, I could not appreciate a difference.

The difference must be subtle because in my leisurely driving this morning, I could not appreciate a difference.
You wouldn't notice any difference in any way with the bushings insert in normal driving scenarios.

Just installed mine this weekend. I noticed more planted shifts. I also noticed more noise from the diff, especially when there is slack in the power (letting off the accelerator while moving). Sounds like a dull grinding or a very deep hum. Anyone else notice increased NVH? Should I be concerned?

Just installed mine this weekend. I noticed more planted shifts. I also noticed more noise from the diff, especially when there is slack in the power (letting off the accelerator while moving). Sounds like a dull grinding or a very deep hum. Anyone else notice increased NVH? Should I be concerned?
Yes. Very noticeable. Almost sounds like a wheel bearing going but as soon as you apply some light throttle, sound is gone.

No braces. Only happens when coasting, as soon as you let your foot off the gas.

No diff brace, only Steeda pinion bushings kit and all 4 bolts are the Whoosh upgraded hardware.

2020ST, so double. I just attributed it to transmitted vibration from the mount to the subframe. The inserts do more than just fill the voids in the bushing--the face will also limit movement when it contacts the surrounding collar of the mount/subframe.

Edit: the more i think about it, there probably is an issue with my rear diff--like worn bearings--that having the JXB inserts just unmasks. Will have to keep an eye on it.

I know this helps with launching and 60' etc. Is there any noticeable benefits under daily driving conditions as well? Or is it only when driving hard?

Only when driving the car more aggressively will you actually notice most mods.

You have a pinion bearing that is going out in your differential, same happened to mine after installing the inserts. I replaced the rear diff out with a used 30k mile unit and fixed it. Diff was inexpensive but took about 4-5 hours to replace it.

Is there a reason to replace the entire diff vs just replacing the pinion bearing?

You could do it yourself but it is A LOT more work than replacing the unit. Then there is making sure that you have it shimmed/gapped correctly, I opted to R&R the diff than disassembling the entire unit.
