Even though the deceleration whine isn't as loud as it was (for whatever reason), I still plan to remove the JXB inserts (on my 4 bolt) next chance I get. I don't notice any benefits and there are some unanswered questions in my mind. Like what does stiffening the rear do to the front of the diff? What does the significant loss of threads into the diff cover for the bolts do for the reliability--especially the drivers' side insert which sticks out a lot further? Too often, we enthusiasts mod with good intentions but ending up shooting ourselves in the foot.
