Keep puddle lights on when headlights are on?

Is there a setting or mod to leave the "ST" puddle lights on when the headlights are on (night)? I like the look of them, but wish they could stay on when doors are closed.

Yes, this would be a cool feature, but likely illegal to have on going down the road. Interested in on how to somehow turn these on anytime.
