Kite string did what!?

Driving past prospect park west barely noticed this tiny black string dangling across the street which was someone’s kite stuck in a tree until I realized it caught my mirror and proceeded to cut into the pillar. Stopped to remove it and discovered it was quite a strong twine of sort but relatively thin. Seconds later a BMW X6 stopped next to me and was like it caught you too ! His whole hood and grille looked like Freddy Kruger was sending a message.

Yeah that would have been a damn good garrote wire had the car(s) not taken the hit. Ouch.

Yeah thankfully most of it can be buffed out out but it’s gonna cost 90 to paint
