miles per gallon as per the lie o meter

is it just me or does anyone see a difference in the miles per gallon from the dash readings to the simple math way of figuring out the mileage, mine is always higher by almost 3/4 of a gallon according to the vehicle my F150 was the same way

Mine is off about 1/2 MPG. It can be adjusted but I've never bothered to. Really doesn't bother me as long as I know how much it is off. Check this thread if you want to change yours. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/inaccurate-mpg-adjustment.4387/

Almost every car from every brand ive driven (Cadillac, Ford, Chevy, BMW, etc) is usually off by 2~ MPG on 70%+ city driving.

70%+ on highway driving is usually 1/2 mpg off or closer.

Been the case for my Explorer as well
