I have put only 300 trouble-free miles on my ST since a new motor installed under warranty. Multiple coolant leaks, battery issues and now an alternator fire that shut down vehicle and fried new AGM battery.

I would hope your dealer takes care of you on this. An alternator Starting on fire in not normal. The tech may have messed up doing the install. Good luck.

Only 300 miles and it's a 2020??? WTF How many miles now? Or are you saying 5 years ago you had the engine replaced.

This don't sound normal.. I have heard of a similar situation with a different manufacturers vehicle, that the installer pinched a bundle of wires during removing or installing the engine and couldn't tell cause the jacketed sleeve looked fine........ proof!

I think the dealer would back you up hopefully

I'm sorry to here about your truck
I wish you best of luck

Thats after the new engine at 71K, now 72k but not without stopping or not starting at least every 4 days. I have always had Fords, but i think this is the end.

My engine is one of the few major components that hasn't had any problems on my 2020!
