My ST feels like it's in Eco mode when I step on the gas

Hello. When I step on the gas, it feels like I'm in eco mode. The engine revs up, but it takes a bit to speed up. My friend said it could be a problem with my turbo. Any thoughts? Thanks!

How long would you say. A slight delay in shifting or a as if if had 200 hp?

Not in sport mode. I just had it in normal mode. Feels like the car has 150 horse power

A little more than a slight delay in shifting. No pick up when stepping on gas. It feels more like 150 hp

I Had an XLT and there was always a delay in normal mode.
My ST... one of the things I like about it is in normal or eco, its a normal Explorer, unless you mass down on the gas.
Then it will move out.....
Otherwise it drives like an Explorer you dont want to be stuck behind. I like that.
In sport mode its a hot rod though and I like that too.
Is it a new one? Can you take it to the dealer?

Of course there is going to have a delay as normal and eco love the highest gear it can be in, so when you want to step on it it takes a second to get in the right gear.

Well, without codes, engine shake, or smoke, Something I would look at would be the tightness of all the intake hoses.
It honestly does not take a lot of leakage to cause boost delays/issues.

It's a 2020, but I have an extended warranty...yes...taking it to dealer tomorrow. Thanks for your input!

Yah if you have a warranty it doesn’t hurt to take it in to the dealer.
