The police 2020 Explorer goes 2 MPH faster than you can. Heh..heh.. My son-in-law, a police officer, is anxious for their first one to arrive. We have a $50 bet that I'll beat him because his will be heavier when outfitted...we'll see.....

True and it feels great! The only exceptions are Durango and Grand Cherokee which don't have 3 rows.

Yesterday I noticed speedometer shows speed in Reverse gear. I've never seen that on any other vehicle before.

after 6 months of ownership, today i noticed that the HVAC fan speed slows down when you start a phone conversation! The speed kicks right back up once you finish the call. Nice way to reduce background noise during calls.

All Fords with Sync 3 have done that for years. Pretty smart design.

The middle round button on the seats when pressed turns on/off the message seats.

one thing i finally found. there is a button on the dash near the emergency lights that activates the front camera so you can pull the nose up to something and not hit it.

I recently discovered this gem too. It makes pulling into the garage a lot easier.

The trunk's under-storage lid (& side covers) are reversible (hard top / soft top). Plus, the side lids can be made to be vertical in the slots (to make to cubby compartments).

This is a feature I became aware of immediately. I love that I can leave one open for shopping bags and the other flat and carpeted for a clean look to hide stuff. The center lid panel is also reversible and can be stowed at the bottom of the large center compartment for deeper trunk floor and eliminates the hidden compartments. So essentially you can remove all 3 panels and have a deep wide cargo area.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this. When you turn on Intelligent Cruise Control, if you press Resume rather than set, the speed is automatically set to maintain the actual speed limit +/- your preferred tolerance. Love this!

I do love that. How did I do cruise control without this option?

To add to that, if you have your preferred tolerance set for 9 miles over the speed limit & you bump up the RESUME button to 11 miles over the speed limit, the next SPEED LIMIT sign change will bring you back to your preferred tolerance setting of 9 miles over the speed limit. Can get annoying but it makes sense if you go from a highway speed to a neighborhood speed.
