New Explorer ST owner from SoCal. I been watching the Explorer ST's for a while and said i would buy one soon. well my FiST got hit last week still waiting to see whats going to happen with that so my Lady convinced me to get a newer car. So its the new toy for the time being. picked up a 21 with 38k on it. came with steeda springs, rear sway bar, and a magnaflow exhaust. hope to make it a bit faster and have fun with it.

A simple rear sway bar transforms these cars as far as handling. You’ll enjoy the corners a lot more.

Then get Steeda Subframe Bushing Inserts next, they make a world of difference.
i plan to. i seen how they tend to flex with hard launches

Welcome to the club!

Any chance, you would be willing to do some testing at ZL1Addons in Poway to make some custom rock guards?

There really is no great mudguard offering for the ST's that look good. I spoke with ZL1Addons and they are willing to create custom rock guards for our ST's, but they need an explorer to do a little testing/measurements.

If you're interested, I will send you some $$$ to cover your gas and such.

Below is what they would look like (car is a Durango, a model I used to own before the ST)

-Chris
