Not a thing wrong with black lug nuts though I would never have guessed these to be black. Must be my eyes.

Meant to say what is wrong with the chrome….any special black chrome lugs you recommend?

I'm just yanking your chain on the chrome lug nuts. It's definitely a personal preference thing. Mine happens to be black with black wheels but that doesn't mean yours should be.

McGard and Gorilla both make nice one-piece black lug nuts that aren't over the top expensive. I personally have the Gorilla ones. I prefer one piece to the covered two-piece design. It eliminates the corrosion under the cover issue that causes socket fitment issues though this problem can largely be negated with proper care and keeping an impact gun off of them. There have also been some members reporting that Ford makes a nice black lug nut but if I remember it too is a two-piece lug nut and was a bit more money.

Thanks I will check them out . Should have come stock black in my opinion to match the wheels!

Had Magnaflow but did not like the 1600-2000 rpm drone so switched to Thermal R&D. Happy now. To each his own.
