I've owned quite a few fun cars over the years. My last 1 was a Challenger 1320 that I sold in the summer of '21. My partner retired last year and we moved to lower slower DE for the better tax and general cost of living situation compared to MD. I was able to keep my job and work 100% from home. We freaked out over her retirement, so I decided no more fun car. It turned out to be not a big deal and relocation is saving us a lot of money, although we've spent a lot on things for the new house..

I'm currently driving a '21 Ford Ranger Tremor. The Dark Horse Mustang 500HP announcement got me looking around. I've also owned a couple of S550 Mustangs. I really don't like the S650 styling, hopefully i's better in person. I started Mustang shopping and came very close to buying. I would need to keep my truck and the expense, etc. of 2 vehicles made me start to wonder about something that would scratch the fun car itch and still be a good DD. Enter Explorer ST! Today I closed the deal!

Next Tuesday I pick up a 2022 401A with moonroof and technology package in Iconic silver. Kind of sad to see the Ranger go, but looking forward to some ST performance.

I can tell already that this place will be a bad influence on me. First up will be a blend mount and get the Uniden R3 installed.

Picked her up today. Already had the bumper plugs to get rid of the front plate bracket and the dealer sticker came off immediately.

I didn't get massage seats, active park assist, wifi hotspot or hands free lift gate. I also didn't the roof rails and there's no mention of that anywhere on the sticker. The Ford site says they're standard on ST. Dunno what happened there. I think it looks better without them.

Congrats! I just joined today, haven't even posted my intro, in process of looking.

I am not far from you, on the Eastern Shore. Looks nice!
