Hi all,

New to me '22 Explorer ST checking in! Not my first ST; I had a Focus ST and loved that car.

It's going to be my daily driver, so no crazy mods planned. I'm focusing on reliability and some aesthetics such as these pedals that everyone seems to have here =D

Mods planned:
  1. J&L Catch Can
  2. Whoosh Diff mount Bolt
  3. JXB Performance Diff Bushing Insert
  4. Steeda Rear Sway Bar
  5. Steeda Subframe bushings
  6. CVF Intercooler (plan to stay at stock tune for warranty purposes; but I do like to have cooler air to maximize the stock tune as much as possible)
I don't plan on getting a Diff support bracket since I don't plan to hoon this car.

Shoutout to all the folks who came before me and shared all their learnings with this car in the past 5 years! I would not have figured out exactly what this car needs to maintain its reliability and performance so quickly without this forum!

Planning on 5 K oil changes and 30 k fluid changes to keep this car in top shape!

Cheers.

Congrats and welcome! I’d recommend the afe rear sway bar. The Steeda one has been known to rust out easily. The intercooler is a great part even on stock tune, the stock intercooler is a joke and the car gets heat soaked really easily.
