New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Apparently there is a new version v23088 out but the website wont allow anyone to download it. My ST says I have v22251 in the vehicle and the website says says my vehicle has v23088.

Called SYNC Support they are aware its an issue

Try an update in vehicle OTA it says your Up To Date.

Brilliant SYNC execution one more time by the masters of in vehicle software systems.

Field test what????????

Exactly. I’ve been in software development my entire life. Crap like this would’ve put my company under 100 times over.

I downloaded the update and now instead of 3.4 22251 it says 3.4 22251_Product

no clue if they mislabeled the update?

Same here.

At least it updated. Was a pretty quick update too, about 2-3 minutes through USB.

Haha, no such problems. YET

Even uploading the log file worked flawlessly.. now waiting for it to be processed by ford as apparently my maps could be updated to F11 or even F12 (whatever that entails)

This morning my Ford Owners shows my SYNC software is back to 3.4.22251. Go figure.

I did the USB way as well.

I even uploaded the XML file back to update Ford website, but it still shows update pending.

Now need to update the maps.
I did the same and got the same result. I wrote to Ford and they answerede that they know about the problem, and working for a solution. Let's hope.Ciao From Italy. Enzo

Looks like there’s a new TCU update in FDRS, so I’m guessing this might address the issue.

My ST downloaded an update automatically on 5/7/23. Since then navigation would glitch so I did a master reset, now it won't turn back on, just a black screen. I'll try disconnecting the battery to see if that will help it reboot.

this update is the opposite of good (for me). My display no longer keeps the same mode set. I have always had it set to “night” mode but it always resets to ‘auto’ now. Which most of the time is ‘Day’ mode.

Also, when using the navigation (no car play nor android auto) it only shows half of the map. :(

I wish I could get a link to download the latest update again and re apply it (via usb) to see if that helps. Before I take it to the dealer.
