OEM spoiler extensions ?

Just because I have not removed it , are the little black triangular extensions on each side of the rear spoiler attached to the spoiler or are they separate and removable ?

Each is attached with 2 screws. The one in the bottom pic is attached but most of it was broken - you can see where it snapped. I’ve been using this part to reverse engineer a spoiler option.
